About Us
The Wood Brothers name has been a part of Sacramento and Northern California since 1945 when Jack and Bob Wood started a plumbing business to serve the needs of the their community. As opportunity and necessity presented itself, their plumbing supplies and hardware business became a building supplies and fixtures business which in 1963 branched off to create the Wood Brothers Flooring people know today. Although Jack and Bob have not been involved in the business for some time, the Wood Brothers name is continued across multiple businesses by five of his children and grandchildren as well as additional family members. We remain committed to quality service and goods at the lowest possible prices.
The Sacramento location has been entirely owned by Gary and Vikki Wood since the early 90’s, but operated by them for more than a decade beyond that. We’ve been located at our current location of 221 North 16th Street, Sacramento CA since 1978. Specializing in providing Northern California with quality name brand carpet, vinyl and laminate at discount prices is our business, and due to superior selection, buying power and committed service business is good.
